The Beyond Your EdgeTM Program is housed at WMG International, a social enterprise with a history dating back to 2005. WMG’s work targets to ensure the success of development projects through exemplary strategy design and execution; targeted training and focused leadership development.
WMG International
WMG International’s history spans back to 2005 when it started as a management consultancy firm, and has worked with organizations to ensure the success of projects through strategy design and execution; training, and focused leadership development. WMG International was registered as an independent social enterprise in 2020 – as an off shoot of WMG Management Consultants Limited – which had been working in the development sector since 2005. After more than 15 years of work, and having established the Beyond Your EdgeTM Program in 2014, we found that the Leadership program and purpose is better served under a social enterprise vehicle. Both mechanisms have benefitted greatly from the 15 years’ work, networks, and experience of the Consulting Firm.
The motivation of our work is making a difference in people’s lives and building strong and humane organizations and to make a lasting difference among individuals, in organizations and ultimately in the communities and countries served.
Our work in Strategy Development; Institutional Strengthening and Leadership Development takes place in sectors that are critical for growing economies including agriculture, water, tourism; private sector development and business growth. Through our partnerships we have built up a deep understanding of the social, cultural and economic factors that are important to development and leadership.
Beyond Your Edge™ is a rigorous and intensive-personal development program.
The program has two group learning sessions with 18+ other inspirational leaders. The learning is informed by integral theory, sourced through training from one of the most respected coaching schools in the world, Integral Coaching Canada™.
Each participant goes through a one-on-one coaching program with an Integral Master Coach™. This is a coaching program like no other; challenging yet honouring where your coach meets you where you are in your personal development; coaching provides a program that is ultimately designed for you as an individual. This is one of the most valued parts of the program.
Everyone joins smaller mentor groups that meet three times to discuss leadership and organizational growth and change issues with 3-4 other leaders.
Bold and Empathetic Leadership
The world needs leaders who are not afraid, who can take risks and stand by their decisions. We also need leaders who have empathy; who recognize that we all have different ways of seeing the world, and that no one perspective is better than another. The program helps you strive towards boldness and empathy to be a proactive and grounded leader.
Push Your Boundaries
We often get stuck in ruts and routines and forget that we need to keep growing and showing up. The personal coaching and group learning provides tools, knowledge, practices and space for you to challenge yourself to be a bigger, better version of yourself.

Understanding your team and knowing how to get the best out of them gives you an advantage in reaching your goals and targets. Group spaces in the program will challenge you to consider your team, their needs and their unique ways of working. You will get opportunities to try out ways to lead groups more effectively.

All businesses and organizations, at some time in their lives, have systematic and structural challenges. The program gives you a safe space to discuss your organizational development challenges and learn from the experiences of others on the course.
It is intensive and rigorous. The program gives you the tools, strategies and compassion to take yourself to the next level in your career and life; and builds you to become more prepared to approach life’s challenges with boldness and balance.
